Senior Propulsion System Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
- The successful candidate will develop and integrate structural requirements to establish system design.
- They will verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
- The engineer will support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- They will lead investigations into failures and analyze improvements to develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
- Existing rights to work in Brazil
- Degree in Engineering
- Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA)
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications in English
- Relevant experience with structural engineering
- Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (hand-calculation and finite element analysis)
- Experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials
- Experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis
- Experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA)
- Experience in Fleet Support and Repair's design and substantiation
