**Calypso Functional Expert Role**

Are you an expert in Calypso functional operations with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions? Do you have experience working with financial products and front-to-back derivatives solutions? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Calypso functional expert.

**Job Description:**

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and additional build-out for Calypso instances. You will address and respond to production support issues, troubleshoot problems arising from day-to-day activities, and provide support to FO and MO users on Calypso. You will also configure, update, and optimize functional setups in Calypso, execute scheduled tasks, and develop necessary functional solutions as required.

Additionally, you will monitor market quotes for errors, feed and security definitions downloads, and ensure supporting documents are complete and stored appropriately. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to implement projects effectively and efficiently, submit status reports, and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  • Configuring Standard & Custom Interfaces within Calypso
  • Setting up Quote Feeds from Bloomberg
  • Set-up Holiday Calendar feed
  • Set-up Interest Rate Curves & other market data
  • Set-up Dividend Curves for Custom Index
  • Set-up Equity Volatility Surface feeds
  • Translate Historical Volatility of Volatility-controlled indexes to a Volatility Surface to be used in Calypso
  • Set-up pricing configuration & pricing parameters

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and Calypso
  • Good knowledge of Financial products cross assets
  • Expertise with a front-to-back Calypso derivatives solution, including accounting, preferably with an insurance industry focus
