Our company has a current opening for an experienced Accounting Specialist. This role will play a key part in our finance team and require someone with strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities include establishing a comprehensive approach to defining and setting up greenfield Calypso instances. Additionally, we need someone who can develop solutions to Back Office/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirements, create and deliver assigned projects/tasks, and revise them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

Other responsibilities include managing and establishing methodology and best practice for BO/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirements, ensuring supporting documents are complete and appropriately stored, working closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders, and submitting status reports to stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Deep Knowledge of Financial products cross assets
  • Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso
  • Experience of adherence to governance frameworks and implementation/handover to BAU

You will also have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment and to communicate effectively with all levels of technical and business resources. Spanish language proficiency is required.
