Cloud Infrastructure Architect Position

Your role will be very hands-on, close to the solutions, envisioning and implementing cutting-edge architectures and technologies.

You will have the space to innovate, propose architectures and solutions autonomously, working in a diverse, collaborative environment that encourages continuous technical development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating an innovative value proposition for customer executives to understand the benefits and transformation value of migrating to AWS.
  • Defining and executing technical migration and modernization strategies in collaboration with highly technical teams.
  • Delivering modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven architectures, using managed services and cloud-native capabilities.
  • Engaging with development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams at the customer to identify repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration.
  • Identifying platform improvements and influencing future iterations of the AWS platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications or infrastructures.
  • Solid years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Solid experience in a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect role, leading the discovery, design, and construction of full-stack custom and commercial off-the-shelf applications.
  • Experience in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.
  • Familiarity with a range of migration discovery, profiling, migration automation, and operations technologies and tools.
  • Undergraduate degree or 7+ years of experience in software design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications in lieu of no Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
