Job Summary:

HazTek Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Consultant - Risk Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Evaluate and improve client safety programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with clients to understand their safety needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, standards, and best practices to enhance a culture of safety within our organization.
  • Assist in the development of training programs and materials to educate employees and clients on safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) role, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a safety consulting role, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting audits, developing safety plans, and implementing safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex safety information to clients and employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a discipline related to Environmental, Health, and Safety.
  • Industry certifications and credentials, such as OSHA or IOSH.
