Job Description
As a Cargo Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and safe execution of daily cargo and marine operations. Your primary responsibility will be to directly organize and manage the cargo team, working closely with the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Heads of Department (HODs), and other stakeholders.

To achieve this goal, you must possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of cargo management principles. You will be responsible for ensuring that all lifeboats are maintained, certified, and fully available, as well as coordinating startup and completion of export operations, maintaining optimum ballast and stability control, contributing to critical situation management, and carrying out regular maintenance activities.

Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and isolate cargo equipment for intrusive maintenance, submit data reports to the OIM, and communicate effectively with other departments to ensure simultaneous operations are managed safely and efficiently. Your ability to work collaboratively with various teams and individuals will be essential in achieving these objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- CoC Master Certificate (500 Gross Tonnage or more)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cargo/Marine Superintendent for FPSOs
- Excellent soft skills and team spirit
- Positively proactive and pragmatic
- Commercially aware and astute
- Good sense of ownership in the decision-making process as 'Internal Customer'
