As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and affordable healthcare services to over 1 million consumers in Puerto Rico. You will contribute to our mission of empowering healthier lives through our Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, Life, and Property & Casualty Businesses.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support and ensuring seamless interactions with patients.
- Ensuring compliance with service and billing standards.
- Anticipating customer needs, communicating them to management, and taking proactive measures according to established standards.
You will also be responsible for:
- Receiving and caring for patients, guiding them on available services, processing eligibility for procedures, verifying deductibles, and managing patient documents.
- Supporting the nursing and billing departments regarding medical record management and data entry according to diagnosis and/or procedure codes identified by doctors.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, we encourage technical courses in Health Sciences or Office Services Administration, preferably with 6 months of related experience. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative functions is acceptable.
