About the Role

Vistra is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our yacht registration team. As Head of Yacht Registration, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and ensuring the quality of client services in compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the accounting and debt collection of yacht companies;
  • Manage client day-to-day operations, including banking, accounting, crew and payroll, local and foreign VAT reporting;
  • Liaise with authorities for registration, customs importation, and other regulatory matters;
  • Lead and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement;
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
  • Strong team-player with experience of working in a dynamic organisation;
  • Hands-on and with attention to detail, with a positive attitude towards solving problems;
  • Ability to think outside the box and deal with change;
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills;
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and industry stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure;
  • High level of organizational and time management skills;
  • High ethical standards and professionalism;
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in an organisation active in the Maritime and Aviation sectors;
  • Extensive experience in the yachting industry, with a proven track record in a senior management role;
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, standards, and industry best practices;
  • Experience in sales, purchase, and registrations within the yachting sector;
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Accounting or Legal, or a related field.
