Bookstore Manager Position

We are seeking an organized and efficient Bookstore Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bookstore.

  • Support customers in meeting their needs for book purchases, stationery, and school accessories by maintaining a well-stocked inventory and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the store is open and closed punctually and maintain a clean and tidy environment at all times.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile any discrepancies with suppliers or colleagues.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate best prices for books and other products.
  • Process invoices and returns efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with office duties as needed and participate in special events outside of normal operating hours.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for managing cash transactions and handling customer complaints effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with MS Office software.
  • English proficiency and strong written communication skills.
