As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing piping systems for various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems, while also optimizing their performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed designs for piping systems, taking into account factors such as pressure, temperature, and fluid dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues before they become major problems.
- Analyze complex piping system data to inform design decisions and optimize system performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience as a piping and systems engineer in the oil and gas, mining, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
- Advanced English language skills are required, with Spanish desirable.
- Proficiency in calculation spreadsheets, AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and CAESAR II.
- Familiarity with mechanical, chemical, metallurgical, or materials engineering principles and practices.
- Strong background in piping and systems engineering, particularly in extraction, processing, and storage industries.
A proactive and dynamic profile, strong interpersonal and technical skills, team leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
