Thorntons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and employee management.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to store staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, ensuring customers receive a high-quality shopping experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient ordering processes to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Financial Management: Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Experience: Minimum three years of single-unit management experience in retail and/or food and beverage industries.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Certifications: Food Safety and Handling Certifications (preferred).
