Senior Android Software Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Android Software Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in software development, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and shipping high-quality Android applications.

This role requires strong technical skills, including expertise in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Room, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava, Dagger 2, Gradle, Fragments, OkHttp3, Retrofit or Volley. You should also have hands-on experience with IDEs, version control systems like Git, and/or command line tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Android applications
  • Develop and maintain durable, efficient, and easy-to-use software code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software features and components
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile app development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of professional programming experience
  • Strong understanding of the Android development lifecycle and ecosystem
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit, Mockito/Mockk, and Appium
  • Experience with CI/CD and setting up deployment pipelines
  • Knowledge of Google APIs and SDKs
  • Hands-on experience with Hilt
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
