Job Overview

This role involves leading a creative team at an agency focused on retail, e-commerce, and consumer businesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of designers, providing design feedback, and overseeing career development. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and address business challenges.

Key responsibilities include championing AI-powered work, conducting training sessions on best practices, and building efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creative direction, marketing design, or responsive web design, as well as proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Manage a team of designers and provide support in strategy, project management, and design feedback.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with direct reports to assess client satisfaction, offer feedback, and oversee career growth.
  • Ensure high-quality work output from direct reports, focusing on visual craft, UX expertise, and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and understand business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 3-6+ years of senior-level design experience, with at least 1 year of people management experience preferred.
  • Digital portfolio showcasing web design, marketing design, and branding skills.
  • Experience working with AI tools and producing client-ready assets powered by AI outputs is required.
  • Experience collaborating with developers and documenting designs for development hand-off.
