Expert Industry Sector Analyst

As an industry analyst, you will have the opportunity to study and build expertise in researched sectors. You will select your areas of sectoral expertise and work with respective heads of sectors and wider regional and global teams to further research agenda, strengthen client relationships, and provide country/regional/global strategic analysis.
Our global coverage generates endless trends available for analysts to leverage in building expertise and a personal brand.
Key Responsibilities:- Primary research with a focus on the market, including direct and regular contact with key industry players, to collate/discuss data and trends for the purposes of improving country-level understanding across several product categories
- Secondary research on industry sources, for individual/team use and for dissemination across regional and global teams where applicable
- Strategic analysis to be released on Passport and beyond
- Client liaison, queries, ad hoc requests, etc
As you build sectoral expertise, key responsibilities will evolve further to include client meetings and presentations, industry presentations and liaison (such as conferences), and other industry-related work.
Requirements:- Flexibility and a proactive approach to managing workloads and balancing research inputs, industry analysis, and client interaction
- Research track record, demonstrated by proven/highly developed skills in desk research, trade interviewing, and data analysis/interpretation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Deep intellectual curiosity, coupled with a drive to become a recognised industry voice
- High level of numeracy
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- A highly organised and responsible individual and a team player that cares about their contribution
- Fluency in English language
- Computer literacy to a high level in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
