About This Role

As an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic research and development team focused on creating innovative solutions for the embedded computing industry. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the demanding needs of our customers.

This role involves developing and maintaining Torizon OS, an easy-to-use Linux-based operating system supported on various hardware platforms. You will work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless full-stack approach and contribute to the advancement of automated build and test cases for Torizon OS.

  • Maintain and expand support for Torizon OS on different System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee a cohesive product experience.
  • Improve DevOps best practices and automate build and test processes.
Requirements
  • Mandatory:
    • Proven expertise in OpenEmbedded/Yocto and its best practices.
    • Experience in Embedded Linux and Embedded Systems.
    • Advanced knowledge of Linux.
    • Intermediate Docker knowledge.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have:
    • Contributions to open-source projects.
    • Familiarity with Debian.
  • Willing to learn:
    • Debugging techniques for operating systems and embedded systems.
    • Best practices for build automation and test setup.
    • Writing automated tests.
