Category Marketing Specialist

This role involves creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
The Category Marketing Coordinator collaborates closely with South America Beverage Industry Customers, Ball Senior Leadership, innovation, commercial teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Key areas of responsibility include collaborating with analytics team and customers to develop a deep understanding of beverage categories, customer needs, and consumer buying behavior in South America countries, to identify opportunities for growth.
Additionally, the role involves utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to influence internal and external stakeholders, partnering with commercial teams and strategy to build business cases based on consumer and customer value, technical feasibility, and P&L viability.
The Category Marketing Coordinator will also lead cross-functional innovation team through stage-gate process, develop commercialization plans and deliver go-to-market strategy for new product launches and commercial capability.
Furthermore, the role requires supporting development of value proposition through communication of core competencies and development of internal initiatives that create value for target customers and build positioning strategies.
The Category Marketing Coordinator will work closely with communications team to connect commercial initiatives to communication and media execution as well as arena partnerships.
Ultimately, the goal of this role is to establish customer lifecycle management strategy to identify critical touchpoints along the customer journey for both new business and key accounts.
Key qualifications include a completed Bachelor's Degree, Advanced English or Above, Intermediate Spanish or Above, experience with Data Systems like Nielsen, Mintel or similar, PowerPoint and Storytelling Skills, Good Communication and Presentation Skills, and Preferred experience working in consumer packaged goods industry in brand marketing, sales, revenue growth management, insights, project management or innovation.
