Requirements and Test Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Requirements and Test Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation, functional testing, and DevOps culture.

Job Description

The successful Requirements and Test Developer will be responsible for writing test cases, manually running test cases, implementing test cases as automated tests, creating and maintaining automated test pipelines, tracking the process of user stories: refinement of the User Story, test plan creation, test execution, and test results report. The Requirements and Test Developer will play an active role in the Scrum ceremonies and be the main responsible for demonstrating Sprint results at the Review ceremony.

Main Activities:
  • Planning of test scenarios, development and maintenance of automated test scripts, and manual test execution in an Agile test squad;
  • Maintenance and monitoring of the test pipelines;
  • Reports and discusses defects with development teams to ensure a high-quality product to the customer;
  • Specification of BDD acceptance criteria;
  • Systems integration tests planning and execution;
  • Performance and scalability test planning and execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Test Automation and Functional Tests;
  • Experience with Kanban Methodology + Scrum;
  • DevOps Culture;
  • Knowledge in GIT / GITLAB;
  • Knowledge in API Tests (REST, JSON-RPC);
  • Experience in Test Automation using the BDD and Gherking guidance models;
  • Test automation languages: Python, Javascript, Shell Script;
  • Automation frameworks: Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress;
  • Knowledge of Linux;
  • Experience with Test and Defect Life Cycle tools (Jira/X-ray);
  • Intermediate or advanced English, conversation, and writing.
