Job Opportunity

The Director, Global Security Investigations plays a crucial role in protecting patients by leading investigations into counterfeits, product quality complaints, and fraud primarily in assigned regions. This position is responsible for identifying, investigating, and mitigating threats to assets - real and intellectual property - and provides guidance and support to security needs across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to identify security threats in today's global marketplace.
  • Facilitate swift and effective organizational responses to incidents or threats that compromise patient safety, reputation, or brand integrity.
  • Provide investigative support to Compliance Investigations; Global Information Security; Employee Relations; Global Security's Fraud and Physical Risk Mitigation groups.
  • Cultivate internal partnerships with Global Security colleagues, business functions, business leaders, and Country Presidents to support all Global Security, Compliance, and business in the region.
Requirements:
  • Manage investigations initiated through product complaints, law enforcement agency referrals, and internally through Global Security.
  • Develop sources of information, witnesses, and conduct investigations to disrupt transnational criminal activity involving fake medicines and grey market products that pose a risk to patients.
  • Coordinate investigations as appropriate with foreign and domestic law enforcement agencies and provide expert witness testimony to both domestic and foreign proceedings.
  • Provide oversight of services of outside consultants in the South America region to support investigations.
Work Environment:

This role requires close collaboration with healthcare providers, non-governmental organizations, government, industry, investigative, and law enforcement professionals on investigative and security matters. The Director, Global Security Investigations reports to Senior Director Americas Security Investigations/GSOC/Exec Protection.
