About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Services Engineer to join our team at Zadara. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Advocacy: Develop trusted relationships with key representatives within the customer and partner base, working closely with them to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
  2. Hands-on Support: Provide personalized approach to customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  3. Innovation and Problem-Solving: Position and propose innovative approaches to customer challenges, aligning with their business goals and objectives.
  4. Training and Enablement: Provide customer training on maximizing the benefits of the Zadara ecosystem, ensuring they are equipped to get the most out of our solutions.
  5. Content Development: Guide and motivate the development of high-value customer-facing guidance and best practice information, including White Papers, data sheets, and proof of concept best practices.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with Zadara's Solution Architects, Product Management, Support, Cloud Operations, and Sales Account Managers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  7. Quarterly Business Reviews: Arrange and deliver quarterly business reviews for the existing customer base, in conjunction with Sales, Solution Architects, and Support.
  8. Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in a technical role, such as Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect.
  • Proven experience in cloud architecture and implementation features, including AWS, Azure, GCP, OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability.
  • Detailed knowledge and expertise in L2 and L3 network equipment configuration, including switches and firewalls.
  • Firm knowledge and experience of Block, NAS, and Object storage technologies.
  • Firm knowledge and experience with Data Center networks and network topologies.
  • Experience with GitOps tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with customers in highly regulated industries, with requirements for working with one or more security and compliance regimes.
  • Strong verbal, written communications, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
  • The ability to gain credibility and build relationships with all levels in an organization, from technical experts to senior executives.
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Must-haves:

  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work within a reasonable commuting distance to our Sao Paulo Office - This is a hybrid role (remote/onsite).
