Test Automation Lead Opportunity

We are building a unified, cloud-native ecosystem and establishing a centralized test automation framework to support it. As the Test Automation Lead, you will own the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of this framework, working alongside senior automation engineers and collaborating directly with QA and dev leads across multiple product lines.

This is an opportunity to build out the framework, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and help shape the overall test coverage strategy. While manual QA fundamentals are important, this work is automation-first. If you have built or scaled frameworks in distributed teams and enjoy owning both strategy and scripting, this role is worth exploring.

  • Built test automation in fast-paced product engineering environments.
  • Designed or extended test frameworks using modern tools.
  • Have a strong understanding of manual QA as a foundation for effective automation.
  • Exposure to multi-team or multi-product test environments.
  • Experience writing test cases for APIs and UI workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and evolve a centralized test automation framework supporting multiple product lines.
  • Define and maintain a test coverage strategy across distributed QA teams.
  • Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests across UI and API layers.
  • Write reusable, maintainable test scripts using modern automation tools.
  • Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and QA strategy discussions.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery speed.
  • Support early-stage manual QA efforts as the automation system matures.
  • Document test procedures, results, and technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and QA leads to align testing practices.
  • Proactively identify and close test coverage gaps.
  • Evaluate and incorporate new tools into the toolchain.
  • Troubleshoot failures, debug issues, and optimize test performance.
  • Maintain browser, device, and environment test compatibility.
  • Advocate for scalable, automation-first quality engineering.
  • Contribute to an engineering culture that values simplicity, clarity, and testing discipline.
  • Explore and integrate AI-assisted testing tools to improve automation efficiency and reliability.
