The Technology Strategy & Planning Department is currently seeking a high-impact leader to provide strategic support across the technology life-cycle. This role will play a central part in the corporate stage-gate process, managing and overseeing the implementation of new technologies to support R&D, technology development, demonstration, and deployment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the company-wide roll-out of the Technology Realized Value KPI validation and reporting process.
  • Manage and oversee the technology stage-gate process, ensuring timely and effective implementation to support R&D, technology development, demonstration, and deployment.
  • Provide leadership for scientists, engineers, and other business/functional specialists to enable de-risking and go/no-go decisions for R&D projects.
  • Serve as an internal consultant for project teams on the development of robust business cases, deployment strategies, and value realization plans.
  • Assess technology stage-gate practices and related activities across the organization, maintaining high standards and compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Partner with R&D staff and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all areas and support a smooth transition to new technologies.
Key Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • No less than 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in commercial technology development and value realization.
  • Subject matter expertise, business acumen, and effective change management skills.
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management systems, such as Planisware or similar software applications.
  • A proven track record of working with multi-cultural, cross-functional teams and developing productive relationships.
  • Experience with Operation Excellence process development and implementation is highly desirable.
