Job Opportunity

The Role of Implementation Consultancy Architect involves driving the delivery of successful projects by reducing project timelines and supporting customers through all stages of the deployment lifecycle.

  • Support customers in preparing for each stage, from scoping to design, implementation, and handover, taking ownership of actions and reporting accurately on project status.

This is a hybrid position requiring flexibility. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on internal and customer meetings, handling questions confidently and supporting key project decisions.
  • Lead on requirements and user story assessments, providing workarounds to the customer and project team.
  • Manage and govern customer environment and installation readiness processes.
  • Provide ongoing training and knowledge transfer for our customers through workshops and meetings.
  • Advocate for the customer when appropriate, raising gaps in requirements or expectations to the Project Manager, Product and/or Engineering.
  • Coordinate across the business to resolve and test defects while managing customer expectations.
  • Apply deep understanding of the industry, use cases, and feature knowledge, sharing information with team members to enable problem-solving and remove project obstacles.
  • Be heavily involved in leading internal process improvement initiatives, contributing to and managing knowledge bases.
  • Coach and develop team members, help with training and accreditation programmes and recruitment.
  • Support the creation and review of commercial estimates for professional services, reviewing commercial SoWs to identify potential risks prior to signature.
Requirements

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience working alongside a commercial or technical team, or experience working client side either at a bank or payments company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English, as well as good presentation skills.
  • Strong academic background (Technology or scientific degree).
  • Interest in the fraud and financial crime domain as well as detection strategies.
  • Technical awareness of infrastructure and operating systems (Linux), cloud computing (Azure, AWS), data types (CSV, XML, JSON) and database technologies.
  • Experience leading integration and user acceptance testing, as well as defect management.
  • Experience of training and coaching junior colleagues and new joiners.
Preferred Skills

Desirable skills include:

  • Basic understanding of analytical techniques including statistical modelling and Machine Learning.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory changes.
