Job Overview:

The Fleet Engineering Specialist is the primary source of knowledge for assigned aircraft models. This role involves monitoring and improving maintenance and inspection programs to ensure safe operation.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Review technical documentation from manufacturers and issue instructions to maintenance organizations as required.
  • Vet relevant technical information and advise on temporary amendments and distribution to technical publications.
  • Assist with technical queries/requirements between clients and manufacturers, attending meetings as necessary.
  • Review flight safety and airworthiness information and issue instructions as required.
  • Monitor results and inform maintenance management.
  • Assess data change requests and make recommendations for amendment as appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Airworthiness Department to undertake follow-up investigations/actions resulting from safety reporting.
  • Monitor the embodiment of airworthiness directives, mandatory service bulletins, repairs, and company modifications.
  • Review reliability reports and take necessary action for improvement as required.
  • Support the investigation/follow-up of accidents or incidents relevant to aircraft types.
  • Review design requests for modifications and endorse/comment as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must have a minimum education requirement of a Licensed Engineer/AMT. They should also possess at least 5 years' experience on Leonardo types (AW139/AW189).
