Job Overview

The Mobile Service Technician is a skilled professional responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on agricultural equipment.

This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, strong computer skills, and excellent customer interaction skills. The individual must be able to perform complex repairs and maintenance using specialized tools and equipment following technical procedures.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in diesel service repair, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. They must also possess valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S without company sponsorship.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics, repairs, reconditioning, and assembly on agricultural equipment and established technology infield and service department.
  • Stay up-to-date with knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
  • Document machine information and repairs completed on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available training programs, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in diesel service repair.
  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Able to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
  • Can lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.
  • Have advanced diesel service technician education preferred – Level 3.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required; associates degree is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S without company sponsorship.
