Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing data science team of 10-14 people and build a collaborative and autonomous work environment.
  • Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term strategies for Data Science, aligning with company goals and serving as a senior technical reference.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of scalable and business-relevant machine learning and AI models.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and leadership to prioritize and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
  • Promote continuous improvement through reusability, automation, and model monitoring across data science workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and bring innovative tools and methodologies into team practices.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or any quantitative field; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Experience leading data science teams and strong people management skills.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and experimentation frameworks, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
  • Expertise in Python and PySpark for data manipulation, modeling, and scalable production workflows.
  • Solid experience in architecting and optimizing data processing workflows using Databricks, Azure, and Spark.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control, and automation tools to support reliable and scalable machine learning operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in dynamic environments.
  • Advanced or fluent English and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
