Job Summary:
The Purchasing Manager plays a pivotal role in the organization's supply chain strategy. This high-level executive is responsible for bridging the gap between country-specific requirements and Above Market planning, ensuring timely communication with various stakeholders to support key campaigns and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Generate weekly reports (MPP +A, MPP +C, and MPP + F) to confirm article allocations, cancellations, and purchasing outcomes, identifying discrepancies and gaps versus global allocation.
  • Lead Sales, Marketing, and Logistics (SMAL) meetings to provide article pool group availability status, supporting market campaigns, sales plans, and launch dates.
  • Align with Inbound Organization delivery plans to prioritize key Purchase Order arrivals, supporting critical campaign intro dates and improving article availability in markets.
  • Deploy Purchasing Reports to Order Fulfilment, enabling automatic article cancellation, action related to minimum MOQ & MPQ, and delays.
  • Manage Minimum meetings with channels to cover automatic article cancellation, actions related to minimum MOQ & MPQ, and delays, providing visibility of volumes not purchased due to MOQ and locked POs.
  • Owning Plant Master Check Reports to provide plant efficiencies status by checking PO status in different systems (SIM- Factory) and SAP plants (adidas Industrial and TradeCo).
  • Developing people Career path and Succession planning of his/her team, implementing coaching and mentoring programs, identifying and developing new key talents to ensure continuity and renewal of the organization.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience
  • Broad theoretical and practical knowledge, including company policies and practices
  • Strong competence with various tools, procedures, etc.
