Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our client's team, working on a real-time event processing platform for a major bank in Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an event framework with architecture based on Kafka and Kafka streams to process streaming data, providing a global view in real-time and triggering automations or alerts if necessary.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Development of applications and components using Java and Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
  • Deployment and management of services
  • Unit testing and debugging

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in:

  • Messaging or event-driven architecture (Kafka)
  • Streaming data processing frameworks: Kafka Streams or Flink
  • Drools
  • Relational and non-relational databases
  • Code version control with Git
  • Deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications: Kubernetes/OpenShift

Other desirable skills include experience with React, Python, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch, public clouds (AWS and Azure), and security standards for authentication and authorization mechanisms.

This is a hybrid position based in Málaga, Spain, with relocation requirements for international projects.
