We are seeking a talented Software Developer and Helpdesk Specialist to join our team.
This role involves developing and maintaining software applications using PHP, as well as providing technical support to users via the helpdesk system.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PHP, Laravel, and related technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing software solutions using PHP and Laravel;
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing software applications;
- Providing technical support to users via the helpdesk system;
- Collaborating with other team members to resolve complex technical issues;
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Salary details will be discussed during the interview process. Practical experience with Git/GitHub and Linux (SSH access, file permissions, terminal usage) is highly desirable. Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and proficiency with code editors like VS Code and PHPStorm are also essential.
Familiarity with common compression tools (ZIP/RAR), basic encryption/decryption, and understanding of digital signatures and certificates is an advantage. Knowledge of Laravel (controllers, routes, Eloquent ORM) and integration with REST/SOAP APIs is necessary. Experience with automation tasks (queues, jobs, PDF generation), system logging, traceability, and debugging is also highly valued.
Use of migrations, seeders, and basic Bash scripting is essential. Comfortable with collaborative version control (Git) and project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello is necessary. Understanding of basic security practices, writing clean and organized code, and general awareness of compliance requirements is also essential. Intermediate English for written and technical communication is necessary. Ability to operate within helpdesk/ticket systems (SLA tracking, Cerb), perform application deployments and rollbacks, monitor infrastructure logs, and handle basic backup/restore routines is highly desirable.
