We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reconstruction Estimator to join our team.
- This role involves investigating and evaluating daily property claims for clients, providing timely and accurate services while maintaining high production levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance policies and carrier guidelines, with experience preparing estimates using Xactimate and Symbility. A valid adjuster license and driver's license are also required.
Additional responsibilities include inspecting damaged property, determining claim-related damage, and submitting information to claims management as needed. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal oversight, and maintain current knowledge of local industry repair procedures and market pricing.
Key Responsibilities:- Handles all assigned claims promptly and effectively.
- Inspects damaged property and determines claim-related damage.
- Makes decisions within delegated authority.
- Understands insurance coverage and applies appropriate claims practices.
- Sets and relays adequate reserves according to carrier guidelines.
- Maintains current knowledge of insurance policies and carrier guidelines.
- Submits other information to claims management as needed.
- Bachelors degree preferred; High School required.
- Valid adjuster license for state residing/covering.
- Valid driver's license to travel to insured locations.
- 2-3 years of experience with property claims.
- Experience preparing estimates with Xactimate and Symbility.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, theories, and practices.
- General understanding of construction concepts and principles strongly preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
