About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Server to join our team at The Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel. As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a sophisticated and memorable experience for each and every guest who walks through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- To create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and memorable.
- To take orders and serve drinks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that every guest receives their order in a timely and efficient manner.
- To work collaboratively with the bar team to ensure seamless service and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- To maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
- To participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in mixology.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, preferably in a high-end bar or restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of a POS system and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Rights to work in the UK.
