As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation of designated machines and production equipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic operation of designated machines and production equipment under supervision.
  • Collect intermediates or raw materials, move and load them into production machines.
  • Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications to ensure proper quantities of materials are added in the correct sequence.
  • Manufacture product in a safe and timely manner according to predefined process instructions.
  • Accurately read control instruments and prepare neat and accurate records for all operations.
  • Troubleshoot problems under guidance and provide assistance when needed.
  • Assist in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant requirements, including GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in flavor, ingredient, food, or chemical manufacturing preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Forklift operation skills preferred.
  • SAP bar coding/scanning experience preferred.
  • Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.
  • Experience in using RF scanner and labeling.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
