Video Editor for Educational Content

We are seeking an experienced video editor to join our team in creating high-quality educational content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, with experience in motion graphics and simple 2D animations. They should be proficient in English, with the ability to understand scientific terminology and conduct research.

The role involves working on long-form videos, typically around 20-30 minutes in length, which require a deep understanding of the subject matter. The editor will need to find supporting images and videos, create short motion graphics when applicable, and source materials from studies, documentaries, and Wikipedia/Wikimedia.

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • Experience in video editing, including motion graphics and simple 2D animations
  • Highly proficient in English, with the ability to understand scientific terminology
  • Proficient in research, with the ability to find and verify sources
  • Fast and diligent learner, always looking to improve and willing to take the time to understand complex concepts
  • Organized and punctual with delivery
  • Able to learn from feedback and adapt to changing requirements
  • Not afraid to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
  • Comfortable using professional video editing tools

This is a full-time position that requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality educational content.
