Job Description

We are seeking an experienced video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging videos for various affiliate offers and direct-to-consumer brands.

This role is perfect for a skilled editor who understands the importance of direct response marketing and can work from a structured script or storyboard to create compelling, conversion-focused videos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos that capture viewers' attention, spark emotions, and drive action.
  • Collaborate with strategists, scripts, and voiceovers to develop engaging video content.
  • Be responsible for the entire editing process, including pacing, transitions, b-roll, music, sound design, and delivery.
  • Familiarity with user-generated content creators and affiliate brands is a plus.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of YouTube ad structure, including hook, problem, solution, and CTA.
  • Experience in editing direct response content for DTC, affiliate, or health/supplement brands.
  • Knowledge of VSL editing frameworks and how to maintain viewer engagement through tight pacing and emotional arcs.
  • Ability to work with scripts, voiceovers, raw footage, and a creative brief, delivering final videos without excessive hand-holding.
  • Focus on performance metrics: CTRs, watch time, conversions – not just 'cool edits.'
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment where deadlines matter and results speak louder than aesthetics.
