Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

This is a unique opportunity to lead our Ubuntu gaming initiative and help make gaming on Ubuntu first-class. As a seasoned software engineering manager, you will be responsible for optimising and expanding the Ubuntu gaming experience, focusing on the Steam Snap.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux graphics stack, user-space components, and low-level kernel drivers. Familiarity with upstream projects and partners is also essential.

Key responsibilities include leading teams in optimising and expanding the Ubuntu gaming experience, managing project timelines and balance feature improvements with deadlines, collaborating with stakeholders to align work with other teams and company objectives, conducting code reviews, and engaging actively with the open source and gaming community to gather feedback and collaborate on improvements.
