Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate high voltage transformers assembly teams, including internal teams and subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.
  • Ensure all assembly processes meet company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines, adhering to industry safety standards and protocols.
  • Analyze factory test reports and perform all necessary electrical commissioning tests to guarantee quality and efficiency.
  • Represent the company and maintain active communication with clients regarding all on-site activities, providing technical support and guidance to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical problems during the assembly process, staying informed on product details and technical documentation.
  • Study and apply technical specifications, product manuals, and technical data sheets, particularly those provided by Chint, to ensure efficient and accurate installation.
  • Monitor the quality of installations and ensure compliance with safety protocols, overseeing subcontractor work and maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, ensuring proper documentation of assembly processes and problem resolutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to continuously improve assembly practices, reporting assembly progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize assembly performance under tight deadlines and high-pressure conditions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in high voltage transformers assembly, with a strong understanding of transformer technology, assembly, vacuum, and oil treatment processes.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform all commissioning tests, with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and subcontractors, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and product data sheets.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols, with availability to travel to assembly sites as needed.
Language Requirements

Portuguese: Fluent or Native

English: Advanced or above
