About the Role

As a Technical Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering teams' strategic direction. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and delivering scalable systems that meet our business objectives.

With a proven track record of leading teams and working in product-driven companies, you will leverage your experience to guide technical initiatives and ensure seamless collaboration across squads and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership: Define team objectives, project goals, and technical strategies ensuring alignment with the company's broader vision.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication among squad members, technical leaders, and non-technical teams to drive timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentorship and Development: Participate in recruitment, training, and development of team members, fostering a growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Track Record: A strong background in leading teams and working in product-driven companies.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with backend technologies (Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS) and optional frontend development.
  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to guide conversations, remove blockers, and encourage collaboration within the team.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, and making decisions based on accurate information.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

Familiarity with core financial domains such as lending, payments, credit cards, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services is highly desirable. This knowledge will enable you to provide expert guidance on technical implementation and collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and make trade-offs.
