Database Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Database DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing database solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

This includes designing and developing Database-as-a-Service solutions for MS SQL using .NET, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools.

  • Responsibilities include leveraging AWS Cloud technologies to build and innovate database infrastructure.
  • Performing performance analysis and tuning for MS SQL environments is also key to this role.
  • Automating and streamlining database management processes is another important responsibility.
  • Conducting POC analysis and documenting complex database workflows is also required.
  • Leveraging skills in incident analysis and providing corrective action recommendations is essential.
  • Developing and implementing database alerting and monitoring solutions is crucial.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is mandatory.
  • Deep experience in database engineering and automation is necessary.
  • Strong experience with AWS services like CFN, SSM, and container technologies is required.
  • Expertise in MS SQL administration including HA, backup/restore, security, and performance tuning is needed.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows environments is essential.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level production databases is required.
  • Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial.
