We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat and Oracle Linux, automation with Ansible, and GIT version control. This role requires the ability to design and implement Linux system infrastructure, develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, and administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Linux System Infrastructure: The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Linux system infrastructure using Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Develop and Maintain Ansible Playbooks: The engineer will develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Administer and Support Red Hat Satellite: The engineer will administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Linux System Issues: The engineer will troubleshoot complex Linux system issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Application Teams: The engineer will collaborate with DevOps and application teams to ensure consistent environments and optimal system performance.
  • Monitor System Performance, Reliability, and Security: The engineer will monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and take corrective action as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong Proficiency in Ansible: 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration and strong proficiency in Ansible.
  • Hands-on Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP): Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
  • Advanced Bash Scripting Skills: Advanced bash scripting skills.
  • Proficient in GIT for Version Control: Proficient in GIT for version control.
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite: Experience with Red Hat Satellite.
  • Deep Understanding of Linux Patching Strategies: Deep understanding of Linux patching strategies.
