Job Summary:

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and development across key account sales, hardware, software, peripherals, and digital business categories. This individual will be accountable for achieving sales targets, maximizing retail space and locations, and handling administrative duties of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Develop Commercial Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive business growth and development.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers to ensure successful marketing of products to consumers.
  • Maximize Retail Space and Locations: Negotiate with retailers to maximize retail space and locations for displays, interactives, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and Report Key Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) to inform future sales and marketing planning.
  • Develop Retail Activity and Promotional Calendars: Create comprehensive retail activity and promotional calendars tailored to each retail account.
  • Maintain Healthy Retail Inventory Levels: Ensure consistently healthy retail inventory levels to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Conduct Weekly Analyses: Conduct weekly analyses of sell-thru and other market/account data to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare and Consolidate Reporting Packages: Prepare and consolidate weekly and monthly reporting packages with sell-in, sell-thru, market share data, pricing information, and competitive and market analysis of the assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate actively with the PlayStation Trade/Channel Marketing team and the Retail Marcom team to ensure proper implementation of all plans and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in sales and management, preferably in consumer electronics or a related field.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in sales, marketing, or communication required, or equivalent related experience.
  • Skills: Strong general knowledge of merchandising, branding, sales analysis, and retail advertising. Creative and energetic teammate who embraces change and continually desires to improve. Resourceful in finding solutions to business problems. Solid ability to execute the strategic vision with a keen sense of activating tactical initiatives simultaneously. Innate ability to understand and articulate market performance and analyze and develop optimized business solutions, including tailored promotions and campaigns.
  • Language: Advanced English.
