Civil Draughtsman Role

">Job Description

As a key member of our design team, you will create technical drawings and plans that serve as the foundation for our construction projects. Your work will ensure that designs are clearly communicated, compliant with regulations, and efficiently executed on site.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating detailed architectural and structural drawings for building construction projects. If you have experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM software and are proficient in AutoCAD, we'd love to hear from you.

">Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for building construction projects.
  2. Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings.
  3. Support the design team by translating conceptual sketches and technical data into accurate CAD drawings.
  4. Collaborate on the development of structural layouts, floor plans, and utility networks.
  5. Update and revise designs based on feedback from engineers, architects, or site observations.
  6. Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, design standards, and project specifications.
">Requirements
  • Familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of construction methods, site logistics, and temporary works.
  • Experience with local authority drawing submissions and approval processes.
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Drafting Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a draughtsman in the building construction or architectural design industry.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM tools are a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of civil and structural design principles and building systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
