We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead Outbound operations in our distribution center. This role involves managing a team of associates and requires a balance between strategic thinking, operational execution, and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 50-100 associates across multiple shifts
- Drive operational excellence through management of KPIs, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics
- Implement and maintain standardized work processes
- Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate business updates
- Manage workforce planning and staffing to meet business demands
- Lead problem solving initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace standards
- Train and develop first-level associates and supervisors
- Collaborate with support teams to drive continuous improvement
- Manage performance through data analysis and actionable insights
- Labor monitoring and management
- Monitor Idle Time (TOT)
- Track productivity rates
- Manage break times
- Address frequency/attendance issues
- Monitoring of adherence to processes
- Quality audits
- Safety hikes
- 5S compliance checks
- Performance management
- Real-time coaching
