Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Energy Transition Manager to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our energy team, you will be responsible for leading various projects, including decarbonization initiatives, and collaborating with clients to develop practical solutions for energy system design and decarbonization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tackling Systemic Challenges: Develop innovative, practical solutions for energy system design and decarbonization, addressing industry, transport, power markets, and built environment challenges.
  • Bridging Across Sectors: Collaborate with clients, policymakers, and finance experts to mobilize capital and accelerate market transformation.
  • Data Analysis and Modelling: Utilize data modeling, collation, and analysis to identify energy wastage and develop effective energy management plans.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients on alternative energy resources and provide guidance on implementing sustainable energy solutions.
  • Feasibility Studies and Reporting: Conduct feasibility studies, prepare concise reports, and identify viable options to reduce energy consumption.
  • Energy Management Planning: Formulate effective energy management plans, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable energy systems.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Maintain knowledge of the latest environmental legislation and its impact on projects.
  • Low-Carbon Solutions: Provide low-carbon solutions to accelerate growth and improve environmental impact.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Language Skills: Business-level English (required) and Portuguese – both written and oral.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in earth science, environmental engineering, energy management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) accreditation is advantageous.
  • Experience: 6+ years of proven experience working as an energy consultant and project director.
  • Industry Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the renewable energy market in LATAM.
