Environmental Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Sustainability
Key Responsibilities:- Manage environmental responsibilities across multiple sites to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement standards and policies for environmental assurance and protection.
- Lead interactions with regulatory agencies, permit evaluation, and processing.
- Represent the organization at governmental agencies and internally.
- Ensure work performed by contractors, consultants, and employees meets regulatory requirements and standards.
- Monitor environmental metrics and conduct thorough inspections and audits for continuous improvement.
You will analyze environmental performance, establish and monitor metrics, and guide teams in implementing environmental standards. You will work with internal and external partners, including government entities, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
About the Role:The Environmental Assurance and Protection team protects businesses and supports customer needs by proactively mitigating environmental regulatory risks and protecting the environment.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, or industrial engineering, environmental science, or related field.
- Fluent in English (B2).
- Experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations.
- Experience engaging with Regulatory Agency in permit application and regulatory inspection responses.
This role requires a strong background in environmental management and regulation, with excellent communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex regulatory environments and drive positive change within the organization.
