This role is a crucial part of our Legal Powerhouse, supporting the operation of governance schedules and processes for key suppliers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and up-to-dateness of internal contract document templates and identifying opportunities to improve current contract processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate terms and conditions with third-party suppliers to influence them to accept our standard templates or negotiate changes that suit Unilever's interests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, supporting Legal Entity management and governance procedures, monitoring emerging regulations, maintaining accurate records, and submitting documents to official entities.
- Simplify and innovate legal services by engaging with and supporting other lawyers across the globe and providing general administrative and office support as needed.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
- Hands-on experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating roles, including working in a large, complex business environment or relevant law firms.
- Ability to provide risk-based advice on different types of contracts and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to drive process excellence, and a focus on what counts.
