We are seeking a highly skilled Content Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with breaking news and trending topics, identifying key content sources, and creating high-quality articles for publication.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media, trends, and culture. As a Content Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining awareness of local and global news, trends, and events
- Identifying and partnering with content creators, news agencies, bloggers, and social media influencers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance Phoenix Browser's content offerings
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least two years of experience in the news industry, preferably as a news editor, journalist, or content writer
- Familiarity with common people's language and culture, particularly in Africa and globally
- Strong ownership and positivity, fast-learning ability, and excellent communication skills
- Good English for team communication and native Portuguese for working
Benefits
This is a full-time position that may be contracted under CLT or PJ terms. Initially, it will be home-based, but we anticipate transitioning to a physical office setup soon.
