About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Director to lead our financial operations. This is a challenging role where you will be at the forefront of launching and structuring financial processes in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Development: Set up and manage all financial processes, including accounting, reporting, and financial planning.
  2. System Implementation: Implement financial systems and controls to ensure efficient operations.
  3. Activity Oversight: Oversee daily financial activities, including cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Manage invoice payments, cash flow, and payroll coordination with external providers.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
  6. Strategy Evaluation: Evaluate and improve financial strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resources.
  7. Business Support: Provide financial insights to support business growth, including investment decisions and profitability analysis.
  8. Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all tax and financial regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes that may impact the business.

Requirements:

  • Finance Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in a dynamic environment.
  • Cash Flow Skills: Strong understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and accounting principles.
  • Budgeting Expertise: Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Financial Analysis Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, data modeling, and performance tracking.
  • Financial Software Knowledge: Experience with financial software and reporting tools.
  • Numerical, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Corporate Finance Knowledge: Solid knowledge of corporate finance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a hands-on approach.
  • Attention to Detail and Communication Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Language Requirements: Native Portuguese required, with fluency in English or Spanish for effective communication.
