Job Overview
As a Payroll Expert Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts to deliver Local Payroll Expertise in Brazil, USA, and Mexico. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of all time and payroll activities, as well as managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain high levels of service quality.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate processing of all time and payroll activities.
- Team Leadership & Global Expertise: Lead payroll teams in three countries, serving as a global payroll expert providing guidance and support across the organization.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Analyze and assess the impact of new legislation and HR agreements on payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Provide support and expertise to colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external authorities, managing relationships with external payroll providers.
- Continuous Improvement: Create detailed functional specifications for process improvements and system changes, participating in payroll transformation projects and supporting local implementation.
Requirements
We are looking for a strong leader with experience in one of the 3 countries in an industrial context. You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources or a related field.
- Strong experience in payroll management, preferably in an industrial context.
- Deep knowledge of HR systems such as SAP HR, payroll systems, and time management systems.
- Fluency in English, Brazilian Portuguese.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
