Senior Buyer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, negotiation, and supplier management.

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for defining and executing sourcing strategies, leading sourcing activities, and managing a portfolio of contracts.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 8-12 years of procurement experience in commodities, energy, raw materials, or heavy industry sectors
  • Proven sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills
  • Experience with category management, contract lifecycle management, and supplier performance evaluation

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-border environments.
