Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in diesel engines and equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on the job site.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in related fields.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is preferred.
