We seek a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This role ensures our fleet operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to meet project demands and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and inspect diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
  • Detect and rectify mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in diesel engines and equipment.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Repair or replace major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures in the workshop and on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician in a related field.
  • Strong comprehension of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Able to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in heavy equipment repair is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL is preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.
